No school.
No waking up early.
No winter.
No rainy days.
Just sun, sea, and vacations. Every single day of the year.
Sounds like the perfect place, right?
That is exactly what the protagonists discover in “The Island of Eternal Summer”, one of the three stories contained in The Brainrots #12, written by McGames.
But in the The Brainrots universe, we've learned one thing:
when something seems too good to be true... it probably is. 👀
🏝️ Is there really an island where it's always summer?
Apparently, yes.
On this mysterious island, the sun shines constantly, the sea is always perfect, and there seems to be nothing but fun.
Winter doesn't arrive here.
Autumn doesn't arrive.
And above all...
summer never ends.
The inhabitants seem to be permanently on vacation.
Beach.
Swimming in the sea.
Ice cream.
Games.
Relaxing.
And the next day?
Exactly the same thing.
☀️ Every kid's dream
Let's admit it.
Who hasn't thought at least once:
“I wish summer vacation would last forever!”
No homework.
No school.
Every morning you wake up and can go straight to the beach.
On the Island of Eternal Summer, this wish seems to have become reality.
And at first, the protagonists can't believe their luck.
They've found paradise.
Or at least...
so it seems.
👀 But something is off
Hours go by.
Then days.
And slowly, some strange little details begin to appear.
Why is it always summer here?
Why does everyone seem to be constantly on vacation?
Why does no one seem to worry about the passage of time?
And above all...
what happens if someone wants to leave?
What seemed like a perfect vacation slowly begins to turn into a mystery.
🌴 When even paradise can become a prison
And that is precisely where the story written by McGames plays with a very simple question.
If we could have something we desire forever...
would we really continue to like it?
A week of vacation is fantastic.
A month is even better.
But a hundred days?
A year?
Ten years?
If every day were identical to the last, even the most beautiful place in the world could start to feel very different.
And that is what the protagonists will have to discover.
🌞 The secret of Eternal Summer
Naturally, we won't tell you what the island is really hiding.
You'll have to discover that by reading the story.
However, we can tell you one thing in advance:
not everything is as beautiful as it seems at first.
Behind the sun, the sea, and the endless vacations lies a secret.
And when the protagonists start to realize what is really happening...
their only concern might no longer be enjoying the summer.
It might become:
🏝️ “How do we get out of here?”
So be careful what you wish for.
Because the Island of Eternal Summer really exists.
And getting there might be a lot easier...
than managing to leave.
