From the comic “The Brainrots” #4 – published in December 2025

  • Script and text: Alecboard
  • Art: Syarif

After months of creative silence, Alecboard is finally back in the spotlight — and he’s doing it with a special gift: a new comic story that smells of snow, magic, and… a touch of green grumpiness!
His pen, long missed by readers, returns fresher and funnier than ever, giving us an adventure that combines humor, emotion, and a profound message suitable even for the little ones.

Bringing this snowy world to life is the unmistakable talent of Syarif, an illustrator with a soft and colorful style, capable of turning every panel into a small animated scene. The characters' expressions, the brilliant settings, and the attention to detail make the comic a true feast for the eyes.

❄️ A Christmas story with a difference

“Matteo and the Rediscovered Christmas” is a Christmas tale, yes — but don’t expect the classic sugary fairy tale.
The protagonist, Matteo, is a green, hairy, and perpetually grumpy creature, light-years away from the festive spirit of the villagers below.

The comic takes us with him to the top of an icy mountain, into his world made of silence and solitude, while he watches the Christmas enthusiasm of the village with annoyance. And from here, an idea takes shape… a questionable one, but extremely fun to follow.

We don’t want to reveal too much, but we can say this:
👉 Christmas Eve will lead Matteo to discover something he had long forgotten;
👉 he will meet tender and funny characters, like the lovely Ballerina Cappuccina and the colorful villagers;
👉 and what begins with a slightly mischievous plan turns into a journey that speaks of friendship, belonging, and second chances.

🎨 A comic that wins over both young and old

The combination of Alecboard’s brilliant writing and Syarif’s lively art creates a perfect balance:

  • fun for children,
  • nostalgic for adults,
  • ideal as a Christmas read for families and fans of illustrated storytelling.

The green, red, and gold palette evokes the holiday atmosphere, while the character design — all distinct, likable, and instantly recognizable — captures attention from the first page to the last.

🎁 Why read it?

Without getting into plot details, we can tell you that this comic:
✨ tells a simple yet powerful emotional transformation;
✨ celebrates sharing, kindness, and the surprise of Christmas;
✨ brings more than one smile (and perhaps even a little tear of tenderness).

It’s a heart-warming story… and one that, in true Alecboard style, reminds us how beautiful it is to rediscover Christmas within ourselves.
