The Main Story of The Brainrots 2 – Halloween Special

In issue #2 of the comic book “The Brainrots”, entirely dedicated to Halloween, the main story drags us into a future that no one ever wanted to see.

A world where cities are silent.
Where neon signs blink with no customers.
Where broken cups roll through deserted streets.

And where an infection has changed everything.

🧟 They aren't zombies. They are Carriers.

They are called Carriers.

They don't look for brains.
They don't look for flesh.

They are looking for caffeine.

They are human beings infected by a mysterious substance that turns a daily need into an uncontrollable obsession. With dull eyes and trembling hands, they wander around repeating just one word:

“More…”

In the comic, their presence is disturbing but grotesque: some clutch empty cups, while others drag coffee machines around like sacred relics.

☕ The Protagonist: Cappuccino

At the heart of the story we find Cappuccino, more determined and somber than ever.

He isn't just a mascot.
He isn't just an icon.

In this chapter, he becomes a symbol of resistance.

He knows something went wrong.
He knows the epidemic isn't natural.
And above all, he knows that he... might be connected to its origin.

The group navigates through ruined skyscrapers and abandoned coffee shops, searching for the source of the infection.

 

🌆 A Future of Neon and Ruin

The setting is a futuristic metropolis shrouded in toxic fog.
Billboards that are still active display ironic slogans such as:

“Eternal energy.”
“Stay awake forever.”

The pages alternate between pure tension and surreal moments typical of The Brainrots: chases between crazed vending machines, nervous banter during sieges, and visually spectacular scenes featuring hordes illuminated by purple neon lights.

 

🧪 The Mystery of the Epidemic

What triggered the infection?

A failed experiment?
A supercharged drink?
Sabotage?

Professor P suspects the existence of a primordial formula, an unstable blend created to “optimize human energy.”

But someone might have tampered with it.

And what if the epidemic is just the beginning?

“Cappuccino and the Endless Epidemic” combines:

• horror atmosphere,
• frenetic action,
• black humor,
• and the classic controlled nonsense of The Brainrots.

It is the most cinematic story to ever appear in the comic.

It leaves a crack.
