⚠️ CONTAINS SPOILERS ⚠️
From the comic “The Brainrots” #5 – published in January 2026
- Script and writing: Alecboard
- Art: Syarif
After the beautiful Christmas story, the comic book universe of The Brainrots looks ahead once again.
And it does so in the best way possible: Alecboard returns to writing the story, joined by Syarif, to bring to life a comic that is not just a new episode...
but a true beginning worthy of a "to be continued."
The result is STAR WANDERERS: Mission Magmora, an intergalactic tale that kicks off 2026 by taking The Brainrots into space, amidst dreams, laughter, and cosmic chaos, as only this universe knows how.
The first space journey of the The Brainrots universe
The year 2026, in the comic book universe of The Brainrots, doesn't start slowly.
It starts outside the atmosphere.
With Star Wanderers: Mission Magmora, The Brainrots opens the year by looking straight into deep space and asking itself the most dangerous question of all:
what if brainrot wasn't just terrestrial?
🌌 An easy mission (according to some)
On paper, everything was simple.
A quick, clean, almost touristy intergalactic mission.
On paper, exactly.
The protagonists of this first cosmic adventure are three characters who represent The Brainrots in the purest way possible:
-
Atom Cow Atomita 🐮
nuclear energy, impulsive decisions, total self-confidence -
Mercurial Mercury Penguin 🐧
unstable mental speed, liquid logic, poorly timed comments -
Celestial Giraffe 🦒
vision from above, infinite neck, sudden cosmic doubts
Three true Brainrots, catapulted where no brainrot had ever gone before.

🌋 Welcome to Magmora
Lost in deep space, the three land on Magmora, a planet made of:
- living lava
- improbable creatures
- physical laws clearly written by someone with serious problems
On Magmora:
- the ground smokes
- the sky promises nothing good
- explosions are considered a means of communication
Every panel is a precarious balance between cosmic wonder and imminent disaster.
😂 Laughing in space (it's possible)
Star Wanderers: Mission Magmora is a story that makes you laugh while everything goes wrong.
Between:
- surreal dialogues
- questionable decisions
- failed attempts to “fix” the situation
the group must figure out one thing:
save the mission… or survive long enough to tell of the disaster.
Spoiler: the two options don't always coincide.
🌠 The start of a saga?
In the canon of The Brainrots, this story is not just a parenthesis.
It is an open door.
Mission Magmora poses a huge and beautiful question:
👉 are there other Brainrots in our galaxy?
👉 is creative chaos universal?
This first space journey seems like the start of something bigger:
a possible cosmic exploration saga, in search of new frontiers, new planets… and new problems.
The answers?
Perhaps in the next episode.
🚀 Why this story matters
- it is the first true space adventure of The Brainrots
- opens 2026 with imagination and dreams
- proves that brainrot can : ( travel - explore - get lost even among the stars )
You don't need to understand everything.
You just need to depart.
🧠🚀
Space is big.
Brainrot… too.
