🥝🦝 Pipi Kiwi - The Wandering Raccoon Kiwi

In the comic “The Brainrots”, there are creatures born from chaos.
And then there are creatures that seem born from a fruit cut in half while someone was laughing too hard.

Pipi Kiwi is exactly that: an adorable and unsettling hybrid, half raccoon and half kiwi, with legs too human to ignore.

🥝 Impossible Anatomy

Pipi Kiwi is made like this:

  • raccoon head, with a clever and slightly confused expression
  • kiwi fruit body cut in half, with the inside visible but the skin still present
  • striped tail that seems to “sprout from the center” of the fruit
  • paws that almost look like a raccoon's, but end in… human feet

In the comic, it is often drawn with a “too real” physicality, as if it were a poorly executed but perfect collage.

There is also an alternative version (secondary) in which more raccoon features appear: a more evident neck and extra details on the legs.

🌳 Where it lives: the Kiwi Forest

Pipi Kiwi inhabits the legendary Kiwi Forest, also called the Wairaks Forest.

A place where:

  • the kiwi trees are giant,
  • the paths look like green cotton candy,
  • and the air smells of sweet acid and mystery.

Here, nonsense is not a flaw.

It is law.

🍃 The Orange Trance and the “Kiwi Shuffle”

There is a curiosity that returns as a recurring gag in the comic:
Pipi Kiwi cannot stand the sound of oranges being peeled.

That “crack” of the peel… sends him into a trance.

And the Kiwi Shuffle begins, a ritual dance handed down by the sages of the forest.

It is said that this dance awakens the radioactive kiwi trees, which release a scent of sour lemon on nights with a crooked moon.

Those who manage to film it without being seen would obtain eternal protection against meme mosquitoes.

No one has ever succeeded.

(Perhaps because the oranges are a trap.)

🐭 “Squeak Squeak”

In the stranger panels, Squeak Squeak also appears: a creature connected to Pipi Kiwi by atmosphere and style.

A mouse with a mouse face, kiwi on him, and huge feet, who repeats:

“Squeak! Squeak! Squeak!”

It is as if it were the living noise that accompanies Pipi Kiwi when reality becomes too sweet.

👯 Relationships and the Phi Phi family

Pipi Kiwi is part of the Phi Phi family, which includes variants and fruity/animal “relatives.”

Among the closest:

  • Pipi Strawberry (always ready to collect juice)
  • Pipi Yuzu (the zen citrus)
  • Perochello Lemonchello (very sour and theatrical)

Among the best-known rivals:

  • Quesadilla Crocodila (snack thief)
  • Kiwwitto Banditto (raccoon-bandit who tries to rob the forest)

And then there is the forbidden name…

Pippi Poppa Pippo Peppe.
Just saying it makes the kiwi trees shiver.

📚 Where does the name come from?

In the “external” lore, it is said that the name Pipi Kiwi is also inspired by a book called Pipi Kiwi.

And there is a curious detail: “pipi” is noted as the Māori word for “baby / infant.”

So, in an absurd and perfect way…
Pipi Kiwi would be a “kiwi baby.”

Too bad that in the comic he is not a little bird.

He is a raccoon-kiwi with human feet.

And that makes everything more The Brainrots.
