Bulbito Bandito Tankerito: il folle criminale

Bulbito Bandito Tankerito: the mad criminal

⚠️ SPOILER ALERT ⚠️

If there is one character capable of turning a normal city street into a real battlefield, it is Bulbito Bandito Tankerito.

Before the detectives of Rotten Valley even face increasingly dangerous criminals, it is Bulbito who marks the beginning of their career, becoming the first great adversary for Gusini and Pipi Kiwi.

Who is Bulbito Bandito Tankerito?

Bulbito is an eccentric, unpredictable, and completely out-of-control criminal. He loves to draw attention and sow panic, making destruction his trademark.

His appearance alone is enough to make him memorable, but what truly sets him apart is the giant tank he uses to terrorize Rotten Valley.

For him, chaos is not a means: it is entertainment.

His most dangerous weapon

Bulbito fights aboard a modified tank, equipped with a powerful machine gun that allows him to send entire crowds fleeing.

When he enters the scene, police sirens start wailing, civilians run away, and the streets turn into a war zone.

Despite all his power, Bulbito makes a fundamental mistake: he relies too much on strength and too little on intelligence.

The first clash with Gusini

During the first episode of the series, Gusini and Pipi Kiwi are still simple traffic officers.

When Bulbito attacks the city, the two try to stop him but are quickly overwhelmed by the tank's superiority.

The criminal manages to escape, convinced that he left behind two recruits incapable of posing a threat.

It is precisely this overconfidence that condemns him.

The error that leads to his capture

During his escape, the tank leaves behind some clues:

  • a metal fragment with an engraved symbol;
  • traces of light-colored soil coming from the old mines in the East sector.

While the official detectives conduct their investigations, Gusini and Pipi carefully observe the crime scene and connect the clues.

Following their intuition, they reach the abandoned mines, where they surprise Bulbito without his tank and manage to arrest him.

A simple pawn

After his capture, Bulbito refuses to cooperate during interrogations.

Only in the finale of the first episode does the reader discover the truth: Bulbito is not the one truly responsible for the events.

Operating from the shadows is Bobritto Bandito, a mysterious criminal who considers Bulbito nothing more than a failed experiment and decides to replace him with someone even more dangerous.

Trivia

  • He is the first great antagonist faced by Gusini.
  • His tank is the symbol of his personality: loud, flashy, and destructive.
  • He loves provoking the police and turning every clash into a spectacle.
  • His defeat marks the official birth of the detectives Gusini and Pipi Kiwi.

Bulbito Bandito Tankerito represents the perfect debut antagonist: powerful, spectacular, and unpredictable. However, his defeat proves that brute force is not enough against two investigators capable of observing details and thinking clearly.

Even though his story ends with an arrest, his arrival leaves an indelible mark on Rotten Valley and paves the way for even greater threats awaiting the new detectives.
