🦛🤖 Hippobard Sbombardone – The gigantic armored hippopotamus of Italian Brainrot
If you thought a normal hippopotamus was already hard enough to stop, someone in the cartoonish world of Italian Brainrots decided to make it even more absurd.
Take a hippopotamus.
Add giant iron armor, mechanical components, and the look of a futuristic bomber.
The result is:
Ippobardo Sbombardone! 🦛⚙️
One of the most massive and threatening-looking Brainrots, which has become recognizable precisely for its strange fusion of animal and machine.
⚙️ Who is Ippobardo Sbombardone?
Ippobardo is portrayed as a hippopotamus transformed into a sort of armored cyber-bomber.
The animal's massive body merges with metal and mechanical parts, creating a creature that seems to have stepped out of a zoo, a factory, and a sci-fi video game all at once.
But the most curious part of his lore involves two other very well-known names in the Brainrot universe.
🐊🪿 The bond with Bombardiro Crocodilo and Bombombini Gusini
In the original lore attributed to the character, Ippobardo Sbombardone is presented as the father of Bombardiro Crocodilo and Bombombini Gusini.
And not exactly a model father.
The original version of the story actually uses intentionally much darker and more controversial tones: Ippobardo is described as a cruel figure who dominates the two characters and forces them to commit destructive acts.
It is one of many demonstrations of how the lore born around Italian Brainrots can shift, in a matter of seconds, from completely absurd to surprisingly dark.
🦛 A mountain of iron on legs
The feature that makes Ippobardo instantly recognizable, however, is his design.
He doesn't just look like he's wearing armor.
He looks like he has become part of the machine itself.
According to one of the legends we can imagine about the character, his armor is made of a mysterious metal called Ippotitanium, so heavy that no other Brainrot could even lift a piece of it.
Ippobardo?
He walks around with it easily.
When he walks:
THUMP.
Another step.
THUMP.
Another one.
SBADABOOM.
That probably wasn't a step.
🔧 The legend of the Sbombardona Workshop
An old Brainrot story says that Ippobardo wasn't always this way.
Originally, he was a giant hippopotamus who lived near an abandoned factory.
One day, he entered the building looking for something to eat.
He found a red button.
Naturally, he pressed it.
No one knows why there are so many unattended red buttons in Brainrot worlds.
The factory activated, and hundreds of mechanical arms started attaching plates, bolts, engines, and pieces of old machinery to him.
When he came out the other side...
the hippopotamus no longer existed.
Ippobardo Sbombardone had been born.
Naturally, this is a legend we invented to flesh out the character; it is not part of his original lore.
🔩 How much does Ippobardo weigh?
A dangerous question.
According to some Brainrots, he weighs 4,800 kilos.
According to others, 12 tons.
According to Bombombini Gusini:
"Enough that I don't want him on my car."
One legend even claims that Ippobardo once stepped onto an industrial scale.
The scale showed:
ERROR
Ippobardo tried a second time.
ERROR
On the third try, the scale turned off.
Since that day, no one asks him how much he weighs anymore.
🤖 The mystery of his armor
There is something we still don't know, however.
Where does the hippopotamus end...
and where does the machine begin?
Can the armor be removed?
Or is it part of his body now?
Some claim that underneath the enormous metal plates there is still a perfectly normal hippo.
Others say that Ippobardo has become almost entirely mechanical.
And then there is the most absurd theory:
underneath the armor, there is an even smaller armor.
No one has been able to verify it.
🦛⚙️ One of the colossi of the Brainrot world
Among flying crocodiles, sharks with shoes, muscle-bound fruits, and impossible creatures, Ippobardo Sbombardone still manages to stand out.
He is huge.
He is armored.
He is half-hippo and half-machine.
And his original lore links him directly to Bombardiro Crocodilo and Bombombini Gusini, creating a small and decidedly complicated “family” within the world of Italian Brainrots.
But it remains a mystery.
Why did he become this way?
Who really built his armor?
And above all...
what happens when Ippobardo decides to take a dip?
According to a legend, the last time it happened, the water flowed right out of the pool.
